Any idea why there aren't any more "micro" (7.5mm) pocket hole jigs? It seems like the entirety of China's manufacturing sector makes standard pocket hole (3/8") jig, but only Kreg makes micro-sized tools and hardware. I wouldn't mind buying another Keg mini jig, but I don't want to buy one of their bigger systems just to have to pay even more to make it work with the smaller holes.
I tricked out my Harbor Freight pocket hole jig to drill micro pocket holes by cutting up a piece of K&S aluminum tubing that was 3/8" outer diameter and sliding the sleeves into the drill bushings. This allowed me to use the Kreg micro step drill bit in my jig with the spacer screws in place.
