Anyone else find that BrickSeek.com is just an advertising click-generator? I went out looking for a dozen items at half as many stores around my area, and NONE were there. I can't even call it a 0% success rate, because of the implication there was the possibility of success. This is the second BrickSeek safari I've been on, and they were both wild goose chases. Though, once again, in a wild goose chase there actually are wild geese.
These weren't "limited stock" items this time around either. These were all in stock with anywhere from 5 to 15 on hand. But it reinforces my rule on interpreting BrickSeek deal inventory results: "Limited stock = out of stock, In stock = out of stock".
I know Red just picked them up as a sponsor of sorts, but I have to say it has shown itself to be entirely worthless to me and a waste of my time and gas. It's undoubtedly a boon for generating ad revenue and harvesting browsing data for how many clicks you have to use to find the info you want.
