Depends on what you need it for. Are you going to use it once and awhile? Then a $10 HF one will probably get you by just fine, I have one and it surprised me. I overheated it and I thought I'd toasted it, turns out nope it still works just fine.
I ended up getting a bosch 6amp angle grinder to replace it off Amazon, I use that for cutting metal and then use the HF one for grinding.
Really thats the thing, if you are going to be doing a lot of fabrication you want two grinders so you don't have to keep changing discs.
That blue HF 6amp one with a paddle switch has good reviews too. I don't have any personal experience with it but it looks like a decent unit and you should be able to use a 20% coupon on it. Also the Herc ones are good too.
found this guy on youtube and i think he does a great job on going into super detail on the Herc angle grinder. Might go with that Herc and save me some bucks.
I have the 7 amp Hercules and honestly for 40 bucks (think there is a coupon right now to make it cheaper) you can't go wrong it feels like something that'll last year's.
Ive had the blue $20 paddle switch grinder for a few years and it has always performed well for me. I also have the drillmaster cheapo that lives in The welding cart and almost always has a flap disc. That was way before they had the Hercules line. If I had to get another one I would probably get a Hercules but again can’t go wrong with the little blue guy. If you wanna spend 20 and not 40. Search that website for a coupon. 20 is coupon price. As with any HF grinder take the gearbox cover off, wipe out as much of their grease as you can and throw a nice chunk of high temp grease or axle grease/bearing grease. Whatever you have in the garage should work. It really quiets them down and gives them longer life.
Man it's hard to beat those $10 grinders. But the new Herc ones are a beast.

Same guy did a review of the $10 grinder. Go with the Herc.
