I saw these on an endcap at one of my local stores, and, sure enough, it was the same on the HF website:
The light itself is not great and definitely not worth the price. While I hope HF is planning on replacing it with something better designed, I get the feeling it's just going to be another reverse clicky, zoom lens flashlight with too many modes.
But it isn't just the flashlight that's stupid in this case. This particular clearance highlights the phenomenally stupid way Harbor Freight handles pricing. The price $24.97 might seem like a good deal, until you realize that the original price was $24.99 and both the coupon price and the 20% off price were $19.99. Now 20% super coupons can't even be used on it.
Why does HF seem to knock a few cents off a price tag and call it "clearance" when everyone knows that it's not even close to the sale prices, let alone the best coupon prices?
