If you are just going to shoot brad nails and inflate motorcycle tires the 1 gallon would probably work ok. Now if you plan on using the brad nailer a lot and maybe getting a finish nailer down the line, or a framing nailer, I'd definitely step up to the 2 gallon, as it is capable of powering a finish nailer without any issue and can handle a framing nailer.
@brian.everett.elliott it is bigger than the 1 gallon, but is still a pretty compact unit, they should have them side by side at the store to compare. You can also check out pictures and videos to get a sense of the size difference. If I owned either of them I'd go measure them for you but I have a chargeair down in my garage that I got used.

Thanks Jeremy! I will probably go with the 2 ga.. Is it much larger than the 1 gal? That is my only concern--space.
